Position: Senior Software Engineer QA

Location: Greater Chennai Area

Job Description

Qualification and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or MCA.
Should have 5.5 to 7.5 years of IT experience in software test automation
Good in Root cause analysis and Debugging
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong decision-making skills
Should be a good team player who enjoys collaborating with others
Expected to be 100% Individual Contributor
Expert knowledge on Object Oriented Programming concepts and Design Patterns
Hands on knowledge on TestNG framework
Working knowledge in REST API automation.
Expert knowledge in Core Java with Selenium
Experience in working with Dynamo DB
Hands on knowledge in developing Continuous Integration pipelines (CI/CD) using Jenkins
Experience with Git/Git Hub or other version control tools

Design and implement efficient Testing practices
Participate in Planning meetings and ensure quality at all levels of SDLC
Provide Testing and Automation Strategy for newly developed Features
Provide estimates for the Testing related tasks.
Develop test plans, test environment and test scenarios for new product features
Write API & UI automated tests
Conduct Test plan and Code reviews to ensure the quality of Test Cases, Test coverage and Automation Code
Increase Automation confidence by reducing random test failures
Work in an agile team along with developers
Introduce and promote best practices to other team members
Identify QA Risk and Mitigation Plans and ensure product delivery as per the release timeline
