The Opportunity

You will be part of the Content Management team which provides core backend entities and functionality of Nutanix Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) virtual machines (VM), VM templates, virtual appliances and containerized applications on Nutanix platform. Content Management service provides secure and efficient management of critical entities for virtualization and containerization of primary end-user workflows in Nutanix enterprise environments. The service offers scalable, cross-geo enterprise grade content lifecycle, policy management and distribution. The service backend offers on-premise, cloud and hybrid solutions.

Your Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive experience in automation development and testing skills to be part of our dynamic and growing Content Management Team. As an SDET, you will be:

• Empowered to set a high bar for product quality, test for product quality and ensure the quality of our products leads to customer delight.
• You will draft and review test plans and automate test cases for new features.
• Enable a hands-off approach to shipping high quality products through improvements in automated regression and automated tracking of quality for product releases.
• Design, code and test product improvements for improving product quality and reliability.
• Analyze and root cause issues in the product, tests and test framework.
• Work as part of the Engineering team to actively review design documents and product code reviews. Influence the product to have excellent usability, reliability and supportability.

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience developing clean, maintainable code.
• Love of programming. Strong experience in python development is highly desired.
• Experience with test case automation, regression execution, performance testing and integration testing is a plus.
• Experience in areas of virtualization, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native development methods is highly desired.
• 5+ years of industry experience in software development and testing.
• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related area.
