- We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to work on automation activities for our Rule Interconnect teams.
- You will be supporting two software development squads who are working on a decision management platform accessed through Interconnect Decision Portal, which allows users to visually write, test, execute and then publish their business rules on a single platform.
What You’ll Do
- Independently develop scalable and reliable automated tests and frameworks for testing software solutions.
- Specify and automate test scenarios and test data for a highly complex business by analyzing integration points, data flows, personas, authorization schemes and environments
- Develop regression suites, develop automation scenarios, and move automation to an agile continuous testing model.
- Pro-actively and collaboratively taking part in all testing related activities while establishing partnerships with key stakeholders in Product, Development/Engineering, and Technology Operations.
What Experience You Need
- BS degree or equivalent job experience required,
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience
- Exposure to cloud, preferred GCP/AWS or equivalent experience
What Could Set You Apart
- Experience UI and API automation
- Intermediate experience with some the following tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Rest Automation and TestNG
- Experience working in Java environment
- Experience with QA practices within an Agile development environment including writing test scripts, test runs and ownership of testing frameworks.
- Experience with Jenkins, JMeter, Program Objective Memorandum (POM)
- Working experience building testing frameworks and designed new automation framework
- GitHub experience
