Position: Quality Assurance Lead – ETL Testing

Job Description
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for ETL processes across SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, and other ETL tools.
- Lead a team of QA analysts to conduct end-to-end testing, including data validation, data transformation, and data movement within ETL pipelines.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools to streamline the QA process and ensure scalability.
- Collaborate with ETL developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Perform root cause analysis for identified defects, provide detailed reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert in ETL QA methodologies, best practices, and tools, providing guidance and mentorship to the QA team.
- Monitor and evaluate ETL performance, identifying optimization opportunities and recommending enhancements.

Qualification and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3 -10 years Hands-on experience in Quality Assurance for ETL processes, including extensive exposure to SnapLogic, DataStage, Informatica, Talend, and similar tools.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex ETL workflows.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL architecture, and data modeling principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages and experience in automation frameworks for ETL testing.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex ETL issues.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
