Imply is hiring a Quality Assurance Engineer to take over all manual aspects of Quality Assurance of Imply’s range of Web products. In this role, the Quality Assurance Engineer will perform manual validation of Imply’s software, log new defects in Jira, and will be responsible for diligent verification of fixes before releases, own and maintain a manual quality assurance checklist.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of manual testing of Imply Pivot application
- Attending feature design sessions, understanding and prioritizing testing efforts
- Analyzing functional requirements, building and executing detailed test plans
- Writing test cases, executing tests and recording the results
- Accurate and concise bug reports
Requirements:
- An ability to work independently and to meet deadlines
- Energetic and inquisitive in your approach, able to work with minimal supervision
- 1-2 years of quality assurance experience required; experience testing web applications preferred, with ideally at least 2+ years of manual testing large-scale web applications
- Solid verbal and written communication skills; ability to defend your work in front of a team
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
- Meticulous and project-oriented with a passion for breaking things
- CSS, HTML, JavaScript front-end testing experience
- Expert with JIRA or similar bug tracking tool
Bonus Points:
- Experience with UI automation tool, such as Selenium, Puppeteer or Playwright
- Ability to read test code and participate in maintenance, basic knowledge of source control tools, such as Git
- Experience with CI pipelines such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions a big plus
