Position: QA Engineer

Location: Greater Bengaluru Area

What you’ll do:

Collaborate with database developers to enhance data collection and storage procedures and prepare data analysis reports
Perform data profiling on large data sets to determine data quality and integrity
Run data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as clean out data
Gather data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends
Report data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs
Test reports dashboards in Tableau
Test different layers of Data Warehousing and ETL
Document processes and maintain data records
Prepare detailed test plans, test cases, test automation scripts, and report defects

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or related field
7+ years of experience in data quality analysis
Proficiency in programming languages, including Structured Query Language (SQL), Visual Query language, and ETL
Experience in business intelligence testing in various reports using Tableau
Proficiency in using one or more data profiling tools
Superb comprehension, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of best practices in data analysis
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Working knowledge of AWS
Ability to influence and collaborate across the organization at all levels to drive results
Proven ability to take initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships
