You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, working in an agile environment, and contributing to the overall success of our development lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Agile Testing: Conduct testing activities within an Agile environment, understanding various stages of product release and providing necessary QA support throughout.
  • Test Techniques: Apply and implement various test techniques, ensuring their appropriate applicability in different scenarios.
  • Script Development: Create scripts using reusable methods to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Testing and Debugging: Demonstrate strong testing and debugging abilities to identify and resolve issues effectively.
  • Requirement Handling: Exhibit proficiency in requirements understanding, test planning, test scenario/case/data design, and efficient defect lifecycle management using relevant tools.
  • Insurance Domain Expertise: Leverage experience in the insurance domain to enhance testing practices and contribute domain-specific insights.
  • Salesforce Experience (Good to have): Knowledge or experience with Salesforce will be advantageous in this role.
  • Test Automation (Preferred): Possess knowledge of test automation and experience with any relevant tools, providing an added advantage.
  • Timely Reporting and Communication: Ensure timely status reporting, collaborate effectively within the team, and maintain decent communication and presentation skills.

Qualification and Skills

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing with a robust understanding and practical application of testing principles.
  • Proven track record in requirements understanding, test planning, test scenario/case/data design, and defect lifecycle management using testing tools.
  • Experience within the insurance domain is highly desirable, demonstrating an understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
  • Salesforce experience is considered a bonus.
  • Familiarity with test automation tools is an added advantage.
    Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech or equivalent field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required.
