Webomates is an exciting new start-up offering ground-breaking, patented Software Testing as a Service (TaaS) for IT enterprises that provides a lower cost and more efficient ways to perform software Quality Assurance.

We are looking for a dynamic and a fast learner for a Senior Test Engineer role. The suitable candidate must have proficiency in manual testing The primary responsibilities will be to interact with the client, create test strategy, create test cases, review test cases, execute test cases, work closely with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
Must possess the ability to adapt to a dynamic and agile start-up environment.

Requirement:

• The ideal candidate should have a min. 3 years of experience in hands-on test case writing, execution, defect creation.
• US/Europe customer interaction experience is preferred
• Excellent analytical and logical skills to be able to think through the new application and strategize testing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Should be able to understand different new domains by referring to the internet and self learning.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Agile software development methodology and best practices.
• Exposure to TFS/JIRA
• Should have experience in preparing the reports and metrics
• Ability to mentor junior to mid-level QA team

The responsibilities in this position shall include:

• Active client interaction.
• Gather an understanding of customer pain areas and be able to cover it as part of test strategy and provide a regression solution..
• Exploring the application to define the test strategy and writing test scenarios
• Independently able to understand new domains.
• Test case maintenance and updates as and when required, and perform quality reviews of test cases and defects
• Collaborate with customers as well as Webomates stakeholders across the organization to ensure business alignment.
• Should be able to think logically through the application and strategize exploratory testing.

• Open to be available to take customer calls in EST timings
• Ability to work in a remote environment with the required infrastructure.
