Key Responsibilities:

  1. Testing Expertise: Leverage your 6-7 years of testing experience to create, execute, and manage comprehensive test plans and test cases for software applications in the Investment Bank/Financial industry.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Utilize your experience in the Investment Bank/Financial industry to understand domain-specific requirements and ensure that testing processes align with industry standards and best practices.
  3. Testing Process: Be well-versed with testing processes, including test planning, test execution, defect management, and test reporting, to deliver high-quality software products.
  4. Manual Testing: Demonstrate a strong aptitude for manual testing, thoroughly exploring application functionality to identify defects and ensure software meets specified requirements.
  5. Test Management Tools: Utilize tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or similar test management tools to organize and track test cases, execution, and defects efficiently.
  6. SQL Skills: Apply your working knowledge of SQL to interact with databases, perform data validation, and support testing activities involving database systems.
  7. Communication: Exhibit excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate testing progress, and report defects and issues to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 6-7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual testing.
  3. Experience in the Investment Bank/Financial industry is highly advantageous.
  4. In-depth knowledge of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  5. Proficiency in test case design, execution, and defect management.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Working knowledge of JIRA, Zephyr, or any other test management tool.
  9. Familiarity with SQL for database testing and data validation.
  10. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Additional Information:

  • Experience Range: 6 to 7 years.
  • Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.
  • Job Location: Mumbai.
