Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Junior Selenium Automation Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in selenium automation with Java. The Test Specialist will play a crucial role in automating test cases and ensuring the quality of our software solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with TestNG and a strong understanding of automation testing best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Test Automation:
- Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Java.
- Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Ensure test automation is scalable, maintainable, and delivers reliable results.
- Collaborate with the manual testing team to integrate automated tests into the testing process.
- Test Case Development and Execution:
- Develop and execute manual test cases when required.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure test coverage and validate software changes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new changes.
- Defect Management:
- Identify and report defects in a clear and concise manner using bug tracking tools.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve defects and verify bug fixes.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate test results and progress to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth testing and development processes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on testing status.
- Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation testing.
- Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium automation testing with Java.
- Proficiency in TestNG for test automation.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) for defect management.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
