Position: Test Engineer – Embedded Systems (Python Automation)

- Testing Embedded System Software:
- Hands-on experience in testing embedded software or firmware.
- Write and execute test cases for embedded software to ensure functionality and reliability.
- Automation Experience using Python:
- Strong expertise in automation testing using Python.
- Proficiency in Python programming to develop automated test scripts.
Requirements:
- Manual Testing of GUI Applications:
- Conduct manual testing of GUI applications for embedded systems.
- Ensure that the graphical user interface meets design specifications.
- Minimum of 5 Years Testing Embedded Systems:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in testing embedded systems is required.
- Automation Testing with Python:
- Extensive experience in test automation and scripting using Python.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for efficient testing.
- Experience with Jenkins:
- Working knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and test automation.
- Experience in Selenium and Appium:
- Proficiency in using Selenium and Appium for web and mobile application testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering Degree in Electronics and Communication (EC) or Computer Science (CS).
Responsibilities:
- Testing Embedded System Software:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and functionalities.
- Execute test cases to validate embedded system software behavior.
- Automation Testing using Python:
- Develop and implement automated test scripts using Python for efficient testing.
- Integrate test automation into the testing process.
- GUI Application Testing:
- Conduct manual testing of graphical user interfaces to ensure optimal user experience.
- Defect Reporting and Tracking:
- Identify and report defects using established defect tracking systems.
- Work with the development team to resolve identified issues.
- Test Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive test documentation, including test plans and test reports.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of test results and findings.
- Hybrid Onsite and WFH Model:
- Work onsite in the Bangalore office for 3 days a week and WFH for 2 days a week.
