Responsibilities:

  1. Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  2. Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team and other stakeholders to understand project specifications, define test requirements, and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  3. Test Execution: Execute test cases to validate the functionality of Android, Web Applications, and iOS applications. Perform end-to-end testing to ensure seamless integration and compatibility across different platforms.
  4. Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects using a structured defect tracking system. Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
  5. Test Documentation: Create detailed test documentation, including test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test results, to ensure clear communication and knowledge sharing within the team.
  6. Regression Testing: Conduct regular regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
  7. Test Automation (Optional): Contribute to test automation efforts by developing and maintaining automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
  8. Performance Testing (Optional): Assist in performance testing activities to evaluate the responsiveness and scalability of applications under different load conditions.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and strategies to enhance overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of software applications.
  2. Testing Skills: Proficiency in testing Android applications, Web Applications, and iOS applications is essential.
  3. Test Planning and Execution: Proven expertise in test planning, test case design, and test execution within a fast-paced development environment.
  4. Defect Management: Familiarity with defect tracking tools to log, track, and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
  5. Documentation Skills: Strong documentation skills to create clear and concise test artifacts.
  6. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate software defects and inconsistencies.
  7. Test Automation (Optional): Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting languages would be an advantage.
  8. Performance Testing (Optional): Knowledge of performance testing concepts and tools is a plus.
  9. Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with developers and other stakeholders to achieve common goals.
