Job Summary:

Primeone Workforce Pvt Ltd is facilitating the hiring process for an esteemed client in the IT sector, based in Bhopal, M.P. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Test Analyst to contribute to the quality assurance efforts of the client’s projects. The Test Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of software applications through effective testing methodologies and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance professionals, to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure proper functionality.
Perform both manual and automated testing as required, using appropriate tools and methodologies.
Utilize defect management tools to document and track issues, ensuring accurate communication and resolution.
Provide timely and accurate testing updates to project stakeholders and management.
Demonstrate effective communication and collaboration skills to work within an agile development environment.
Participate in requirement analysis and contribute insights to improve the overall quality of software products.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Utilize scripting and automation skills to enhance testing efficiency and coverage (if applicable).

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Test Analyst, Quality Assurance Analyst, or similar role.
Familiarity with testing methodologies, quality assurance practices, and software development lifecycle.
Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Experience with both manual and automated testing, using appropriate testing tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with defect management tools for issue tracking and resolution.
Knowledge of scripting languages and test automation frameworks (optional, but advantageous).
