Position: Storage QA Engineer
Location: Pune

Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise and experience to ensure the quality and reliability of storage-related software products.
- Set up test environments for client-server and distributed systems, including infrastructure and storage configurations.
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate storage functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and product managers, to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
- Conduct system-level testing to validate storage performance, scalability, and resiliency.
- Automate test cases and develop test frameworks using Python or Perl, as well as other automation tools.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify potential vulnerabilities or areas of improvement.
- Document and track defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on architectural and design decisions.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in storage, cloud computing, and automation frameworks.
Requirements:
- 2-6 years of experience as a Storage QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong familiarity with the storage domain, including knowledge of storage architectures, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience with cloud native applications and micro-services, with knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- System-level understanding of operating systems, including file systems, disk management, and storage configurations.
- Proficiency in setting up test environments for client-server and distributed systems.
- Good knowledge of Python or Perl for automation scripting, with experience in developing automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with automation tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework, PyTest, or Selenium is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
