Job Description: We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Controls Engineer with a specialization in Embedded QA Testing. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing, Python programming, and a strong understanding of testing processes such as test case and test plan development. The role requires an immediate joining or a notice period of up to 30 days. The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting quality assurance activities in the embedded systems domain and contributing to the success of our esteemed MNC client.

- Conduct quality assurance (QA) and manual testing of embedded systems to ensure software functionality, reliability, and performance meet specified requirements.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans, including identifying and documenting test scenarios and expected results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and effectively validate software features.
- Utilize Python programming skills to develop test scripts for automated testing, as applicable.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with the development team to facilitate timely resolution.
- Ensure adherence to testing processes, standards, and methodologies throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in embedded QA testing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in QA / Manual Testing, with a focus on embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for test script development.
- Thorough knowledge of testing processes, including test case and test plan development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computers/MCA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and communicate defects effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computers/MCA) is required.
