Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of Testing Methodologies:
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of testing methodologies and concepts to ensure thorough and effective testing of our eLearning courses.
  • eLearning Course Testing:
    • Conduct testing of eLearning courses as an end user to ensure they meet the quality standards and are user-friendly.
  • Functional Specification Document Review:
    • Analyze and review functional specification documents to understand project requirements and testing objectives.
  • Types of Testing:
    • Perform various types of testing, including functionality testing, content testing, UI testing, black box testing, sanity testing, and browser compatibility testing.
  • Bug Reporting and Retesting:
    • Identify, document, and report bugs using tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla. Retest resolved issues to ensure they have been effectively addressed.
  • Regression Testing:
    • Conduct regression testing to verify that new changes or enhancements have not affected the existing functionality of the eLearning courses.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Communicate effectively with team members, leads, and business associates to provide updates, share insights, and address concerns.
  • Test Scenario and Test Case Documentation:
    • Create detailed UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test scenarios and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all possible scenarios.
  • Suggestions and Improvement:
    • Provide suggestions and insights for resolving potential problematic areas within the eLearning courses.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications:
    • Software testing diploma, ISTQB certification preferred.
  • Tools and Software Knowledge:
    • Good knowledge of manual testing tracking tools like JIRA and Bugzilla.
    • Solid understanding of MS Office tools.
  • Testing Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of requirements analysis, test planning, test design, and test execution.
  • Automated Testing (Advantage):
    • Knowledge and experience of automated testing is an added advantage.
