Job Summary: ComUnus is excited to offer a great opportunity for experienced Software Testers to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software solutions, with a specific focus on the Life Insurance Domain. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute comprehensive testing strategies that guarantee the delivery of reliable and high-quality products.

- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and design effective test strategies for software testing within the Life Insurance Domain.
- Create, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate software functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Perform manual testing to identify and report defects, inconsistencies, and issues, ensuring they are accurately documented and tracked for resolution.
- Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues that may not be covered by existing test cases.
- Participate in the identification and implementation of automated testing processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that software updates and changes do not adversely impact existing functionalities.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to clarify requirements, reproduce issues, and facilitate timely defect resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing valuable feedback on product quality and suggesting process enhancements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and the Life Insurance Domain.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Software Tester, Quality Assurance Engineer, or similar role with a minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in testing software applications.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience working within the Life Insurance Domain is a mandatory requirement.
- Proficiency in designing and executing comprehensive test cases for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality results and a commitment to continuous learning.
