- Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, verify functionality, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate testing tools and frameworks.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed test plans, including test scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing process, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
- Regression Testing: Execute regression testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not introduce new defects into the existing software.
- Automation Frameworks: Contribute to the design and maintenance of automation testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Test Reporting: Generate test reports and provide clear and concise feedback to project stakeholders, highlighting test progress, results, and issues.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Tester.
- ISTQB certification (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in manual testing and automation testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
