Position: QA Analyst
Location: Pune, India
Ivalua is a leading provider of cloud-based procurement and supply chain management solutions. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced QA Analyst to join our team in Pune. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and validation processes. Your expertise in software testing, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail will play a vital role in delivering high-quality solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of our software applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the software.
- Develop and maintain test data, test environments, and test documentation.
- Participate in test plan and test case reviews to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Analyze test results, provide comprehensive reports to stakeholders, and assist in root cause analysis of issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug issues reported during testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA processes, tools, and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Proficient in designing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Experience with various testing techniques, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and databases for data validation and verification.
- Experience in testing web-based applications and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
