Key Responsibilities:

  1. Test Strategy Development: Collaborate with project teams to define test strategies, test plans, and test cases that align with project objectives and quality standards.
  2. Test Automation: Leverage your expertise in test automation to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and more.
  3. Manual Testing: Perform thorough manual testing when required, ensuring that software applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  4. Database Testing: Utilize your experience with SQL databases to perform database testing, data validation, and ensure data integrity.
  5. Performance Testing: Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and other performance testing methodologies to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  6. Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and step definitions for automation, to ensure the repeatability of testing processes.
  7. Issue Identification and Reporting: Identify and document software defects, inconsistencies, and issues, and work closely with development teams to facilitate their resolution.
  8. Quality Assurance: Enforce software testing best practices, standards, and methodologies throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure the highest quality deliverables.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing the overall efficiency of the quality control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of overall software quality control experience with a substantial focus on test automation (6+ years).
  • SQL Database: Proficiency in SQL database testing, including data validation and ensuring data integrity.
  • Testing Expertise: Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
  • Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Passion: A passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products.
