- Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases to validate the functionality, reliability, and quality of medical device software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deduce test scenarios that cover all aspects of software functionality.
- Utilize your strong understanding of FDA Quality Systems Regulation to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
- Participate in the design and development of medical device software in an Agile environment, contributing to the software development life cycle.
- Execute test scripts and test plans using Visual Studio 2012 or later, while also working on Windows operating systems.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for test management and tracking of test cases, defects, and progress.
- Work with a Test Management Tool to organize and manage test artifacts effectively.
- Validate software changes against defined requirements, identifying defects and ensuring accurate defect reporting.
- Collaborate with software developers and other team members to troubleshoot, diagnose, and verify fixes.
- Apply your expertise in medical device software design and development to enhance testing processes in an Agile environment.
- Maintain clear and detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, trends, and advancements in software testing methodologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software testing processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing.
- Experience in developing manual test cases and test scripts to validate software functionality.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio 2012 or later and experience with Windows operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of FDA Quality Systems Regulation, especially in the context of medical device software.
- Experience in test scripting and using test management tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report testing progress and results.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the software development life cycle.
- Prior experience with medical device design and development in an Agile environment is a significant advantage.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
