Job Description:

Trantor is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA (Manual Tester) with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. As a Senior QA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive manual testing. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards.
  2. Functional Testing: Create and execute test cases to verify the functionality of the software and ensure it aligns with the specified requirements.
  3. API Testing: Conduct API testing to validate the functionality, performance, and security of APIs used within the software.
  4. System Testing: Evaluate the overall system behavior and performance, including integration between different modules or components.
  5. Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes or updates do not introduce new defects into the existing software.
  6. Integration Testing: Verify the interaction and integration of various software components to ensure smooth and error-free operation.
  7. Database Testing: Validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by executing database testing procedures.
  8. Test Planning: Develop test plans and strategies that outline the scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables of the testing effort.
  9. Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects throughout the testing process. Collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
  10. Test Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and testing procedures.
  11. Quality Assurance Best Practices: Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and methodologies related to manual testing.
  12. Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to ensure clear communication and alignment on quality objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
  • Proficiency in functional testing, API testing, system testing, regression testing, integration testing, and database testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Experience with test management tools is a plus.
