Position: Senior QA (Manual Tester)
Location: Ahmedabad

As part of our growth, we are currently seeking a talented and experienced Senior QA (Manual Tester) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the manual testing efforts and collaborate closely with the development team, business analysts, and project managers to ensure effective communication and timely resolution of issues.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct both functional and non-functional testing to verify the performance, reliability, and usability of software applications.
- Identify and document software defects and inconsistencies, using appropriate bug tracking tools and following established processes.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability and compatibility of software applications after changes or enhancements.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical support and assistance as needed.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze test results and provide clear and concise reports on the quality and progress of the testing process to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.
- Actively contribute to the team’s growth and knowledge sharing by sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a QA professional with a focus on manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and test cases.
- Excellent understanding of test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools, such as JIRA or Bugzilla, and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support.
- ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certifications would be an advantage.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
