Responsibilities:

As a Senior QA Engineer at Xactly Corporation, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain and continuously improve the QE function within the organization.
  • Facilitate the implementation of QE best practices to enhance product quality.
  • Establish partnerships with internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements and ensure high-quality product delivery.
  • Take ownership of the overall quality of the development and delivery process.
  • Drive quality automation initiatives and maintain a customer-centric perspective for end-to-end quality.
  • Develop test strategies, design test plans, and create effective test cases independently.
  • Conduct Mobile QA Engineering with both manual and automation testing.
  • Work in a Scrum methodology environment where automated tests are considered part of the definition of done.
  • Test enterprise business applications and J2EE-based applications.
  • Utilize GUI automation tools such as Selenium and API automation tools like JUnit using off-the-shelf solutions.
  • Demonstrate programming skills in languages such as Java to support automation efforts.
  • Possess strong SQL query knowledge, with a preference for experience with Oracle databases.
  • Contribute to the testing of product-based solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Gain exposure to builds and deployment tools like Jenkins.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5-8 years of experience with a strong testing skill set.
  • Ability to independently develop test strategies, design test plans, and create effective test cases.
  • Experience in Mobile QA Engineering, encompassing both manual and automation testing.
  • Previous experience as a QA engineer in a Scrum methodology environment where automated tests are considered part of the definition of done.
  • Proven expertise in testing enterprise business applications and J2EE-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience in GUI automation (e.g., Selenium) and API automation (e.g., JUnit) using off-the-shelf tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java to support automation efforts.
  • Strong SQL query knowledge, with a preference for experience in Oracle databases.
  • Experience working in product-based companies.
  • Familiarity with builds and deployment tools like Jenkins.
