Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in automation testing to join our dynamic team in Indore. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through effective automation testing processes. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing, possess a thorough understanding of testing methodologies, and have hands-on experience with various automation testing tools. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and fellow QA team members, to understand project requirements and define comprehensive test plans.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and test frameworks for web and mobile applications.
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze test results to identify defects and ensure software quality.
  • Work closely with the development team to report and track defects, and assist in defect resolution.
  • Conduct performance testing and load testing to ensure application stability and scalability.
  • Continuously improve automation testing processes and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  • Participate in test planning, test estimation, and test strategy activities to ensure effective testing coverage.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest automation testing tools, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, etc.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycle (SDLC), and testing life cycle (STLC).
  • Hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.
  • Familiarity with API testing and performance testing.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and communicate defects effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (not mandatory but a plus):

  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
