- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to understand project requirements and functionalities.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure maximum test coverage.
- Conduct thorough manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues in web and mobile applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to verify software behavior and performance.
- Validate API endpoints and interactions to ensure data accuracy and seamless communication between components.
- Utilize exploratory testing techniques to uncover hidden defects and provide valuable insights.
- Document test results, track defects using issue tracking tools, and communicate testing progress and outcomes effectively.
- Collaborate in identifying areas for process improvement within the QA team and contribute to enhancing testing methodologies.
- Mentor and assist junior QA team members, sharing best practices and knowledge to foster growth and skill development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3+ years in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
- Experience with API testing, including validation of endpoints and data integrity.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and version control systems.
- Excellent analytical skills to identify and report defects accurately.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams and convey testing results clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for ensuring software quality.
- ISTQB certification or similar QA certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and scripting languages is beneficial.
