Salary Range:

  • Individuals with 4 to 6 years of experience: Salary range of 6 LPA.
  • Individuals with 6 to 8 years of experience: Salary range of 8 LPA.

Job Description:

As a Senior Manual Tester at Test Yantra Software Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and reliability of software applications within the Life Insurance domain. Your expertise in manual testing, policy servicing modules, and database management will be instrumental in delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, software specifications, and testing needs.
  • Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the Life Insurance domain, particularly policy servicing modules.
  • Perform manual testing activities, including test case design, execution, and defect reporting.
  • Leverage your understanding of database concepts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Secondary expertise in the Ingenium application and automation knowledge is a plus.
  • Participate in test planning, strategy, and execution in alignment with project goals.
  • Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4 to 8 years of experience as a Manual Tester, with a strong understanding of testing principles.
  • Expertise in the Life Insurance domain, particularly policy servicing modules.
  • In-depth knowledge of database management and data validation.
  • Familiarity with the Ingenium application and automation knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for identifying and documenting defects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Experience in test planning, test case design, execution, and defect management.
  • Agile mindset and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
