Position: Senior Manual Tester (Domain – Life Insurance)

Location: Gurugram/Bangalore

Test Yantra Software Solutions, a leading software solutions company, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Manual Tester with expertise in the Life Insurance domain. If you have 4 to 8 years of experience in manual testing and possess in-depth knowledge of Policy Servicing modules, preferably with previous Ingenium experience, we invite you to apply for this position. Job Details:

As a Senior Manual Tester with expertise in the Life Insurance domain, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct manual testing activities, focusing on Policy Servicing modules and database testing. Additionally, knowledge of the Ingenium application and automation testing will be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct manual testing activities, including test planning, test case design, test execution, defect tracking, and test reporting.
  2. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of the Life Insurance domain, specifically Policy Servicing modules, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  3. Perform database testing to validate data integrity and accuracy.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
  5. Identify, document, and track software defects and issues, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  6. Participate in test case reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.
  7. Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and provide recommendations for improvement.
  8. Mentor and guide junior testers, sharing your domain expertise and best practices.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in manual testing and the Life Insurance domain.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 4 to 8 years of experience in manual testing, with a focus on the Life Insurance domain.
  3. In-depth knowledge of Life Insurance Policy Servicing modules, preferably with previous Ingenium experience.
  4. Strong expertise in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  5. Experience in database testing, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  6. Familiarity with the Ingenium application is highly desirable.
  7. Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks is a plus.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and document software defects accurately.
  9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  10. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
  11. Immediate availability with an ability to join on short notice.
