Position: Manual Tester
Locations: Kochi / Trivandrum
Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days
SE-Mentor, a leading software development and consulting company, is currently hiring Manual Testers with the following qualifications and experience. We are looking for talented individuals to join our team and contribute to our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
- Create and execute test cases based on project requirements.
- Identify and document software defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely bug fixes.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Hands-on experience in creating test frameworks.
- Apply Agile methodologies in testing processes and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Conduct functional, regression, and system testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand project requirements.
- Provide feedback and suggestions for improving the testing process and product quality.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of Jira for defect tracking.
- Experience in creating test frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in Agile methodologies.
- Good understanding of software testing principles and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus.
