Role Overview:
As a Manual Tester at Sapphirus Systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and quality of software products developed by our client. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to verify and validate the products and processes across Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). Your expertise in manual testing, whitebox testing, and programming skills will be key in delivering high-quality software solutions.

- Leverage your 3 years of experience as a manual tester, specializing in whitebox testing, to conduct thorough testing of software applications.
- Utilize your strong programming skills in Java to design, create, and execute effective test cases and scenarios.
- Apply your in-depth knowledge of techniques for product and process verification and validation to ensure the quality of software solutions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in debugging and problem-solving to identify, isolate, and report issues effectively.
- Contribute your expertise in API testing, Mobile Testing, Web Testing, and Database Testing to enhance the overall quality assurance process.
- Take ownership of writing automated tests for both web and API using your proficient coding skills.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements, identify potential risks, and implement effective testing strategies.
- Document and communicate test results, defects, and testing progress to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience of 3+ years as a manual tester with a focus on whitebox testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, enabling you to create effective test scripts.
- Sound understanding of verification and validation techniques across SDLC and STLC.
- Proficient at debugging issues and providing actionable feedback to developers.
- Experience in API testing, Mobile Testing, Web Testing, and Database Testing.
- Ability to write automated tests for web and API applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
