Job Overview:

As a Salesforce Tester at CloudCache Consulting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Salesforce applications. You will be responsible for various testing activities, including test case writing, execution, defects reporting, and coordinating with the project team for defect resolution. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) processes, along with hands-on experience in writing test cases, using defect tracking tools, and conducting regression tests. Proficiency in Salesforce and knowledge of automation testing with Selenium using JavaScript are also key requirements for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Understanding and Working Experience of SDLC and STLC:
   • Have a good understanding and practical experience of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
   • Collaborate with the development team and project stakeholders to align testing activities with project requirements.
2. Test Case Writing, Execution, and Defects Reporting:
   • Write clear and comprehensive test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
   • Execute test cases and report defects with accurate and detailed information.
   • Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely defect resolution.
3. Test Management with Azure DevOps:
   • Utilize Azure DevOps or similar tools for test case management, execution, and defect tracking.
   • Manage test artifacts and ensure traceability between test cases and requirements.
4. Analytical Skills:
   • Possess strong analytical skills to identify potential areas of improvement in the testing process.
   • Analyze test results and provide valuable insights to the project team.
5. Automation Test Script Creation using JavaScript in Selenium:
   • Develop and maintain automation test scripts using JavaScript in Selenium.
   • Automate repetitive test cases to increase testing efficiency and coverage.
6. Organizing and Monitoring Defect Management Process:
   • Organize the defect management process and ensure proper tracking and resolution of defects.
   • Collaborate with the development team to verify and validate defect fixes.
7. Regression Testing and Test Strategy:
   • Conduct regression tests for Salesforce projects and change requests (CRs).
   • Define and implement appropriate test strategies based on project requirements.
8. Writing SQL Queries in Salesforce:
   • Have working experience in writing SQL queries to validate data in Salesforce.
9. Effective Communication:
   • Communicate effectively with the project team, stakeholders, and other team members.
   • Provide timely updates on testing progress and test results.
10. Salesforce Certification:
    • Possess Salesforce certification(s) to demonstrate expertise in Salesforce testing.

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on experience with test case writing, execution, and defects reporting.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• Experience in automation testing using Selenium with JavaScript.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with project stakeholders effectively.
• Salesforce certification(s) is mandatory.
