Position: Salesforce Quality Engineer

As a Salesforce Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications through comprehensive testing, including manual and automation testing. Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Testing: Perform testing of Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products, to ensure they meet the highest standards of quality.
- Manual and Automation Testing: Handle all aspects of testing, from manual to automation (if applicable). Drive the team to follow best practices in testing.
- Requirements Review: Review requirements specifications and provide timely and meaningful feedback to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Test Process Improvement: Help define, improve, and implement test processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Salesforce Security Review: Understand managed and unmanaged packaging from a Salesforce security review perspective.
- Agile / SCRUM Methodologies: Work in an Agile/SCRUM development environment and ensure testing activities align with these methodologies.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and work on corrective and preventive actions.
- Test Case Creation: Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on project requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Role-Based and Cross-Browser Testing: Conduct role-based testing to ensure compatibility with organizational profile policies. Perform cross-browser compatibility testing.
- Bug Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure that resolved issues do not introduce new problems.
- Test Documentation: Create test coverage documentation, test execution plans, and metrics reports to provide insights into the testing progress and results.
- Test Plan and Suite Management: Organize and maintain test plans, test suites, and test cases based on project requirements, acceptance criteria, and priorities for automation.
Required Skills and Certifications:
- Salesforce Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
- Salesforce Testing: 2-5 years of experience in Salesforce testing, including manual and automation testing.
- Agile / SCRUM: Strong understanding of Agile/SCRUM methodologies and their application in software development and testing.
- Salesforce Certifications: Must have relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform AppBuilder, and at least one of Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant.
- ISTQB Certification: ISTQB certification will be an added advantage.
