Responsibilities:

1. Salesforce Testing:
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and Salesforce functionalities.
   • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on the project specifications.
   • Execute manual testing on Salesforce applications to ensure the functionality and usability of the system.
   • Verify data integrity and data synchronization between Salesforce and other integrated systems.
2. Test Execution and Defect Reporting:
   • Perform thorough testing of Salesforce applications to identify and document defects.
   • Track and manage defects through the entire defect lifecycle until resolution.
   • Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and enhancements.
3. Functional Testing:
   • Validate the functional aspects of Salesforce features and customizations.
   • Ensure that Salesforce applications align with business requirements and user expectations.
4. Test Data Management:
   • Collaborate with the development team and data analysts to ensure the availability of relevant test data.
   • Manage and maintain test data to support different testing scenarios.
5. Test Documentation:
   • Document test cases, test scenarios, and test results in a clear and organized manner.
   • Prepare test summary reports and provide regular updates on testing progress.
6. Test Environment Setup and Maintenance:
   • Set up and configure testing environments to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
   • Collaborate with the infrastructure team to ensure the availability and stability of test environments.
7. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to communicate testing progress and results.
   • Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5 to 10 years in manual testing, with a focus on Salesforce applications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities and configurations.
• Familiarity with Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builders.
• Proficiency in creating and executing manual test cases.
• Experience in defect tracking and defect management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid work mode (partly remote and partly office-based).
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder) are a plus.
