Job Description:
ServiceNow India is seeking experienced Quality Engineers with a passion for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in both manual and automation testing, contributing to the delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers. - Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications, including functional, regression, and usability testing. Create and execute test cases, documenting defects and issues found during testing.
- Automation Testing: Develop and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and methodologies. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Test Planning: Participate in test planning activities, define test objectives, strategies, and test schedules. Ensure that test plans are aligned with project goals and product requirements.
- Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues through the defect lifecycle. Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
- Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments, including hardware and software configurations, to replicate real-world usage scenarios.
- Reporting and Documentation: Create detailed test reports, documenting test results, test coverage, and issues found during testing. Maintain accurate and organized test documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure that product quality meets or exceeds expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify areas for optimization and efficiency improvement.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in software testing, with expertise in both manual and automation testing.
- Manual Testing: Proficiency in manual testing techniques, including test case design and execution for web-based applications.
- Automation Testing: Experience in developing and maintaining automation test scripts and frameworks. Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Test Planning: Ability to participate in test planning activities, define test strategies, and create test plans.
- Defect Management: Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes.
- Test Environment Setup: Knowledge of test environment setup and configuration.
- CI/CD Integration: Experience in integrating automation into the CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.
