- Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing of software applications to ensure their functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Big Data Exposure: Utilize your knowledge of Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and Elasticsearch to test data processing and analytics systems.
- Scripting: Leverage your scripting skills, preferably in Python or other scripting languages, to automate test cases and streamline testing processes.
- Linux Proficiency: Execute basic shell commands on Linux systems to facilitate testing and troubleshooting.
- UI Testing: Perform thorough UI testing to ensure a seamless and user-friendly experience for our customers.
- Test Strategy: Develop and implement effective test strategies, test plans, and test cases for various projects.
- Testing Methodologies: Apply your understanding of testing processes and methodologies to design and execute effective test scenarios.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to identify and address any software defects or issues that may arise during the development cycle.
- Non-Functional Testing: Evaluate non-functional aspects such as performance, scalability, and security of the software.
- System Integration Testing: Collaborate with development and integration teams to conduct system integration testing and ensure smooth interoperability.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong understanding of testing processes and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Kafka, HBase, Solr, and Elasticsearch, with the ability to perform querying and basic commands.
- Proficiency in Linux, including the ability to use basic shell commands.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, preferably Python or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of UI testing, regression testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, and system integration testing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A passion for quality assurance and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
