Job Description:

As a QA Engineer at Green Apex Technolabs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. We are looking for individuals with a strong background in manual and automation testing to contribute to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project specifications.
- Create a test strategy aligned with project goals and timelines.
Manual Testing:
- Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality and performance.
- Document defects in detail and track their resolution to closure.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the resolution of previously identified issues.
- Validate software adherence to design specifications and functional requirements.
Automation Testing:
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using relevant tools and frameworks.
- Implement and maintain automated test suites for regression and integration testing.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement best practices.
Collaboration and Adaptability:
- Participate in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Adapt testing strategies to accommodate changing project requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software within Agile timelines.
SDLC and STLC:
- Apply Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes effectively.
- Utilize Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) methodologies to ensure systematic and efficient testing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to refining QA processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in software testing.
Strong knowledge of manual and automation testing methodologies and tools.
Proficiency in Agile development and testing practices.
Ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
