About the Role: As a Quality Analyst at CareerPartner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing both manual and automated testing strategies. Your primary focus will be on maintaining and improving the overall quality of our software applications, websites, and APIs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough testing of software applications, websites, and APIs to identify defects, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on quality standards.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide input on potential issues and areas of improvement.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that previously identified issues have been addressed and new features work as expected.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks using Selenium, Webdriver IO, JavaScript, and Cucumber.
  • Conduct API testing to ensure the reliability and functionality of backend services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for quality assurance processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance testing methodologies and tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Quality Analyst or similar role for 2 to 4 years.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Webdriver IO.
  • Solid programming skills in JavaScript for scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and tools such as Postman.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with complex systems.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
