Position Overview: As a Quality Analyst for the Capital Market team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and solutions. You will be responsible for conducting both manual and automated testing processes to identify and resolve any issues or defects. Your expertise in Unix commands and proficiency in at least one programming language will be essential in performing various testing tasks efficiently. Experience in the Capital Market domain will be a significant advantage, allowing you to better understand the context and complexities of the products you’ll be working on.

- Manual and Automation Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of our software products to ensure their functionality, usability, and reliability. Create and execute test cases and test scenarios to identify defects and issues. Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline the testing process.
- Unix Commands Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in Unix commands to navigate and troubleshoot issues in our software applications, databases, and system configurations.
- Programming Skills: Apply your coding skills to develop, modify, and maintain automated test scripts. Write efficient and effective code to support the testing efforts and improve testing automation.
- Defect Reporting and Tracking: Document and report any defects or issues found during testing accurately. Track the defects through their lifecycle to resolution.
- Domain Knowledge (Capital Market): If you possess experience in the Capital Market domain, leverage your understanding to test the products in a relevant context, considering industry-specific requirements and regulations.
- Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the development and product teams to understand project requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies. Prioritize testing activities based on project timelines and criticality.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance the testing process, including identifying opportunities for test automation, process optimization, and quality assurance.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to foster a collaborative and cohesive work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and other relevant testing artifacts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in Unix commands and experience with Unix-based systems.
- Strong programming skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++).
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience in the Capital Market domain will be a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve software defects.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and thorough in the execution of testing activities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
