Position: Quality Analyst
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Helpful Insight Private Limited, a dynamic and rapidly growing company based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, is currently seeking a talented and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team on an immediate basis. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions to our clients. You will be responsible for reviewing system specifications, developing effective testing strategies, executing test cases, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the overall quality of our products. Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications to gain a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers, developers, and project managers to develop effective test strategies and plans.
- Execute test cases, both manual and automated, and analyze the results to identify any deviations from expected behavior.
- Evaluate product code against system specifications to ensure compliance and adherence to quality standards.
- Create logs and documentation to accurately record testing phases, test results, and any identified defects or issues.
- Report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies to the development teams, providing detailed information and steps to reproduce the problems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues that arise during the testing process, working closely with the development teams to identify root causes and solutions.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to verify the stability and performance of software products in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in quality assurance to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Analyst or in a similar role, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the role of quality assurance within the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with reviewing and analyzing system specifications to develop effective test strategies and plans.
- Proficiency in executing test cases, both manual and automated, and analyzing test results.
- Ability to evaluate product code against specifications to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Experience in creating logs, documentation, and defect reports to accurately record testing activities.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and report issues effectively.
- Knowledge of post-release and post-implementation testing to validate software stability and performance.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions to clients.
