Role and Responsibilities:

As a QA Testing professional at AS Technology Corp, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and functionality of healthcare software applications, particularly within the US healthcare domain. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. US Healthcare Expertise: Leverage your 3-5 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on the US healthcare domain. Prior experience in testing Claims modules within the health insurance area is essential.
  2. Billing & Enrollment: Prior experience in Billing & Enrollment within the US healthcare domain is desirable.
  3. Web UI and API Testing: Apply your expertise in Web UI testing and REST API testing using tools such as Postman to validate the functionality and integration of healthcare software applications.
  4. E2E and Integration Testing: Demonstrate experience in testing software functional end-to-end and integration aspects to ensure seamless performance across various modules.
  5. Test Scenario Creation: Design, write, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases that cover functional and non-functional requirements.
  6. Learning and Best Practices: Show an eagerness to learn, analyze test scenarios, and apply best practices to ensure ongoing improvement in testing quality.
  7. High-Quality Deliverables: Focus on delivering high-quality testing outcomes by meticulously identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs.
  8. Agile Experience: Prior experience in Agile methodologies is preferred, enabling you to effectively contribute to iterative and collaborative development cycles.
  9. Issue Troubleshooting: Utilize your ability to troubleshoot and triage issues based on logs, identifying root causes and potential solutions.
  10. Communication Skills: Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and convey testing results effectively.
  11. SQL Proficiency: Demonstrate a good understanding of SQL to query databases and validate data integrity.

Responsibilities:

  • Test Approach: Create test approaches and criteria in discussion with customers to establish the testing scope and strategy.
  • Test Scenario Creation: Develop comprehensive test scenarios that cover both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Testing Execution: Execute testing activities and provide continuous feedback to the development team, ensuring timely bug identification and resolution.
  • Bug Tracking: Identify, record, document, and track bugs using established tools and methodologies.
  • Regression Testing: Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved to ensure overall application integrity.
  • Testing Process Improvement: Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts to assess testing effectiveness.
  • Tool Adoption: Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, adopting the most suitable ones for project needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manual testing within the US healthcare domain, specifically in testing Claims modules within health insurance.
  • Web UI and API Testing: Proficiency in Web UI testing and REST API testing using tools like Postman.
  • E2E and Integration Testing: Experience in testing software functionality end-to-end and ensuring integration across various modules.
