Position: QA Tester
Location: Ahmedabad
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications to understand the software requirements and expected functionality.
- Execute test cases, both manually and through automated testing tools, to validate the software’s performance and functionality.
- Analyze the test results, evaluate the product code against specifications, and identify any deviations or errors.
- Document testing phases and defects by creating detailed and accurate logs for future reference.
- Report bugs and errors to the development teams, providing clear and concise descriptions and steps to reproduce the issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to troubleshoot and resolve any software issues.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the software in real-world scenarios.
- Work closely with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle to promote a culture of quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester, with a track record of delivering high-quality software products.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors effectively, providing clear and detailed reports to facilitate issue resolution.
- Working knowledge of test management software, such as qTest and Zephyr, and proficiency in SQL for database testing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and a meticulous approach to testing, ensuring thorough coverage and identification of potential issues.
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving aptitude to tackle complex software problems.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
