Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing: Execute comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify defects, issues, and vulnerabilities. This includes functional, regression, and usability testing.
  • Automation Testing: Develop, maintain, and execute automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation into the testing process.
  • Test Case Creation: Create clear and concise test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and design specifications.
  • Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track defects and issues found during testing. Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Test Planning: Participate in test planning activities, including defining test objectives, strategies, and schedules. Ensure that test plans align with project goals and product requirements.
  • Test Environment Setup: Configure and maintain test environments, including hardware and software configurations, to replicate real-world usage scenarios.
  • Documentation: Maintain well-organized and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance teams, to ensure product quality meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify areas for optimization and efficiency enhancement.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with proficiency in both manual and automation testing.
  • Manual Testing: Strong understanding of manual testing techniques, including test case design and execution for web-based applications.
  • Automation Testing: Experience in developing and maintaining automation test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
  • Test Planning: Ability to participate in test planning activities, define test strategies, and create test plans.
  • Defect Management: Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes.
