Position: QA Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team and product owners to understand software requirements and define test objectives.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts using appropriate tools and methodologies.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure the quality of software products.
- Conduct API testing to verify system integrations and data exchange.
- Implement and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using defect tracking tools.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing detailed information for efficient resolutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Test Engineer, with expertise in Selenium, Java, API Testing, and Automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with API testing and verification of system integrations.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks using Selenium and Java.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools and bug reporting processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
