Position: QA Team Lead
Location: Bengaluru
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of QA engineers and oversee the quality assurance process for software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and support, to understand product requirements and define test strategies.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute test activities, including test planning, test case creation, test execution, and defect management.
- Mentor and guide team members, providing support, feedback, and training to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and testing methodologies.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Continuously monitor and report on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a strong understanding of QA concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Previous experience in a leadership role, managing a team of QA engineers.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles, test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Experience in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
