Position: QA Specialist
Location: Remote/ Hybrid
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to understand product requirements and define testing strategies.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of product functionality.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report defects, bugs, and other quality issues.
- Document and track identified issues using appropriate tools and methodologies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and detailed information to facilitate prompt resolutions.
- Participate in agile development processes, such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-up meetings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on product usability, performance, and functionality.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a QA Specialist, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools and bug reporting processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is a plus.
- Only Gujarat-based candidates are preferred.
