QA Performance Tester

Position: QA Performance Tester

Location: Pune

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute formal performance test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.
Participate in test planning activities, including defining test objectives, test scope, and test deliverables.
Write test cases/scripts for performance testing and automate them for efficient execution.
Execute performance tests and analyze the results to identify performance issues and bottlenecks.
Collect and analyze data for software process evaluation and improvement, and integrate them into business processes to address the needs of the business.
Document all problems encountered during performance testing and assist in their resolution.
Deliver quality process training to technical staff and act as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.
Report performance testing status to stakeholders, highlighting any critical issues or risks.
Proactively analyze issues with their impact and follow up with the concerned team for resolution.

Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high-quality products within specified deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics, and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Self-motivated and quick learner, with a proactive approach to identify and resolve issues.
Experience with JMeter scripting for performance testing.
Familiarity with Load Runner scripting for performance testing.

At least 3 years of relevant work experience conducting performance testing of mission-critical applications.
Good to have experience in ERP testing based on SAP and Oracle.
Experience with relevant automation and monitoring tools used for performance testing.
Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or Groovy for performance testing using JMeter.
At least 2 years of experience with HP Load Runner/Performance Center or other performance testing tools.
Familiarity with integrating test scripts with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Proficiency in using tools like SVN, Jira, and Confluence for test management and collaboration.
