As a QA Manual, your responsibilities will include:
- Web and Mobile App Testing: Conducting comprehensive testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues.
- Functional Testing: Verifying that application features and functions meet specified requirements and perform as expected.
- Integration Testing: Ensuring that different components of the application work seamlessly together.
- API Testing: Validating the functionality and performance of application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Cross-Browser Testing: Testing the application’s compatibility across various web browsers and mobile devices.
- Technological Proficiency: Utilizing your knowledge of XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and JSON to assess application behavior.
- SQL Skills: Executing basic SQL queries to verify the behavior of the application’s database.
- Database Testing (Advantageous): Conducting database testing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Communication Skills: Demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills to report defects and testing results.
- Interpersonal Skills: Collaborating with team members, sharing ideas, and actively participating in knowledge sharing sessions.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in QA Manual testing.
- Testing Expertise: Proven experience in functional, integration, API, and cross-browser testing on web-based applications.
- Technological Knowledge: Understanding of XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and JSON.
- SQL Proficiency: Basic knowledge of SQL and the ability to execute basic SQL queries.
- Database Testing (Advantageous): Experience in database testing and the ability to execute SQL queries for data validation.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal skills with a willingness to share ideas and learn from others.
