Job Description:

As a QA Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. Your extensive experience in testing and team management will be crucial in overseeing complex projects and leading the testing team to deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities:

1. Team Management:
   • Manage the test team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
   • Guide the team in developing test plans, test processes, test cases/scripts, and test data.
2. Test Strategy Development:
   • Develop and document testing strategies, including test plan development and effort estimation.
   • Provide QA reporting and updates to stakeholders and project teams.
3. Full Life Cycle Testing:
   • Oversee project implementations with full life cycle testing for complex projects.
   • Ensure adherence to testing best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
4. Automation and Manual Testing:
   • Possess expertise in both automation and manual testing.
   • Develop and implement automation testing frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium.
5. Test Progress Monitoring:
   • Manage the planning, process, and progress of the test phases across multiple projects.
   • Ensure test execution is on schedule and meets project requirements.
6. Software Testing Process:
   • Demonstrate a keen understanding of the software testing process and metrics.
   • Analyze testing data and metrics to improve testing efficiency and quality.
7. Database and SQL:
   • Utilize PL/SQL to query data from databases for testing purposes.
8. Agile Environment:
   • Work effectively in an Agile work environment, collaborating with Agile teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 10-14 years in testing web-based applications.
• Strong QA and testing industry knowledge.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in test team management, software development, or professional services, including project implementations with full life cycle testing for complex projects.
• Expertise in both automation and manual testing, with hands-on experience in developing automation test frameworks using Selenium being a plus.
• Keen understanding of the software testing process, testing metrics, KPIs, and tools.
• Experience in managing and guiding test teams in test planning, test processes, test cases/scripts, and test data development.
• Exposure to Agile work environments will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the testing team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and project teams.
