- Lead the QA efforts for assigned projects, ensuring the quality and reliability of software deliverables.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Perform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) testing to validate data accuracy and integrity.
- Write complex SQL queries to perform data validation and verification.
- Conduct manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, communicate testing progress, and address concerns.
- Work closely with the development team to resolve issues and defects in a timely manner.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, sharing best practices and insights.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
- Participate in requirements analysis to provide valuable input from a testing perspective.
- Solve complex testing challenges and ensure the implementation of quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7 to 9 years of experience in quality assurance and manual testing.
- Strong experience with ETL testing and validation of data transformations.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation and verification.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- ISTQB certification or relevant QA certifications are a plus.
- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
