Job Description:
As a QA Lead (Automation) at Newt Global, you will:
- Manual Testing and Automation: Leverage your extensive experience in both manual testing and test automation using Selenium to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts for a variety of testing scenarios, including Sanity, System, Regression, and End-to-End testing. Your automation efforts will contribute to comprehensive testing coverage.
- Tool Expertise: Utilize your working knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, JIRA, and GitLab to streamline testing processes and enhance collaboration among development teams.
- Test Frameworks: Apply your experience with test frameworks such as Cucumber and TestNG to design and execute effective testing strategies.
- Feature and Requirement Reviews: Actively participate in feature and requirement reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations to enhance the testing process.
- Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with both the Development and Business teams, fostering clear communication and alignment throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Middleware Testing: Apply your knowledge of middleware testing and web services to validate the interaction between different software components.
- Ownership of Testing Activities: Take ownership of testing activities related to the application, ensuring that all quality assurance efforts are executed efficiently and thoroughly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong emphasis on test automation.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Test Automation using Selenium.
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of Core Java.
Additional Skill:
- Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL.
